Anyone have any luck using a gauge pod mounted to the windshield pillar?  I've noted that some come close
to the shape of the trim piece, but not entirely sure how far off it is.
 
Would be nice to get a two or three gauge pod for 2 1/8" autometer gauges.  
 
Otherwise, it's under the dash they go
