Tony, for the command center I am putting in, I would have to cut and mod all kinds of stuff, and would actually probably be harder than just redoing everything, cause I would have to make my mods work while also trying to understand the TSM diagram. The original harness has multiple items running on the same circuits, and its designed that way, adding on to and modifying those circuits is probably what has melted everything in the old harness that was in there. I am just spitballing here, but that would be one of my assumptions, and I also dont want to spend the money or use somebody elses harness thats in good shape just to cut it up.  
 
Check this out, after more research into the TSM and the rats nest I had laying on the ground, I found that at one time, the aftermarket radio, the heater blower motor, headlights, tail lights, brake lights and positive for the neutral safety switch were all spliced and running off of the same accessory tab on the fuse panel.... and the fuse panel was charred black on the bottom side to that circuit, as well as where the main battery feed came in.... There were 5 tabs on my fuse panel just burnt to a crisp!!!
 
 
Dont worry guys, my stubborn and relentless a$$ will get it done and figured out. I hope....  
 
 
BTW: I have made some comments in the past to others that making your own harness would be no big deal..... well that was a STUPID AND UNINFORMED NOOB Comment... I apologize!!!

    Get a basic 12 circuit  painless kit for a GM column off Ebay for about $200 then add what you need and want to finish the systems needed. . . . .
 
If youre getting rid of the stock ignition switch add relays for the high amp circuits like heater/AC, fuel pump, and electric fans.
 
If running relays with flip switches to control them consider swiching on the ground side of the relay, it makes the wiring simpler and safer( less wiring with 12v on them)
   If the wiring harness is not in the budget I would just have to postpone the dyno session till later and use the old seat of the pants dyno and get the car back together.
 You do need a safe wiring system

If you are going to make your own get good noninsulated terminals and use heat shrink at each terminal, connectors at junctions so it is easy to remove or service. Dont use cheesy red blue and yellow crimp stuff, buy the good stuff and a good crimper and solder and crimp each terminal.

By connectors I mean a multiple terminal weatherpack or metripak GM style so you can disconnect a series of wires at a time. You need a good crimper and do it properly. Male portion of the crimp on the backside of conn not on split.

Whew, ok, I got the wiring diagram Done.... I am gonna try and take a pic of it and post it so you guys can go over it, pick it apart, and ask questions... the only thing not done on the diagram at this point is the electric fans, still not totally sure what I am doing up front with cooling yet.....

What are you talking about, I cant keep up with myself, cant expect others too... But I gotta tell ya, I love this stuff, I think coming up with your own crap and ideas and doing what hasnt been done is awesome, and has become a total addiction!!!! And when I say what hasnt been done before, I mean what I personally have never done before... new stuff, new projects, welding, metal working, drawing wiring diagrams, and soon engine building etc etc.. I love it all, even if half of my stuff doesnt work sometimes....

And now a roll of red wire  Really JP good thinking on the drawing, so everyone can offer suggestions. SH
