Its the holliday week , so that means Ol..77. has gotta crack the door open , listen carefully , peek outside . Is it safe , whew .. No Neighbours . I,m out in the backyard and I hear that nerve tinglin , I was only gonna be out here for a few minutes mission crushing neighbour voices . I look around , nope not just in my head , its a real neighbour , Plaid Rabbit .
Hey whats up , this is my cousin friend co worker . Hey whats up . he says he has some pics on the wall of his rec room of Bob Glidden racing a car like mine way back in 1980 or so . Its red with white angled stripes on the 1/4 panels . Oh yea thats cool I say an try to end conversation quickly .
Sad fact is ... didnt Glidden race Ford Pinto,s with white angled stripes on the 1/4 panel cause he was a Ford guy . I,m not googling it , but I,m pretty sure Glidden never raced a red with white stripes AMC Gremlin . And even if he did , the pics in this guys basement are probably still of the Pinto,s .. Sad ..77.

My all time favorite Glidden moment, was the time he barrel rolled his T-Bird, got out, and put his jacket over the intake so no one could get pictures. Those were the days !! His son Billy is quite the winner these days as well.

Never had an amc. Did race chevy for a while then all fords untill the Plymouth arrow one year. I worked at Tom O'Brian Plymoth at that time.He used to work at a ford dealership.I moved to Tn. and have not talked to him in a while.
