Bulltear Alternator Bracket
01/24/09 at 03:04:52
I finally broke down and installed the Bulltear alternator bracket to mount my Powermaster one wire alternator. It is one sweet set-up. It was a simple bolt on, with no headaches at all. It really cleaned up the homemade brackets I was using to mount the Powermaster alternator. Highly recommended!!
Next is a billet power steering pump...

Nice setup. Looks great. Guess I will have to break down and buy one now that I see just how prudy it can look! I run an Eaton pump, any suggestions on that?
Really looks great ColoradoAMX!

Unless you want to keep the stock look, convert to the saginaw pump. I ordered a billett pump from Summit.

It should be here on Tuesday, I'll let you know how difficult (assuming nothing ever fits AMC exactly) it was to mount.

As far as I know, there is no bracket that works for A/C optioned cars. Stay tuned for an update on the billet PS pump. I have to get rid of that ugly Saginaw pump.
I want to update the PS box too, what is the best performance box to use? I used to recall that there was a ws^ pontiac pump from a Trans Am that would work...does Flaming River have anything to upgrade?

If you want to add air , you have to get brackets from a 79 up wagoneer, that will accept the GM alt and air. MC tries to get good fit on the stuff he makes, all of the items. He has engines and parts on hand for exact measurements. He is an AMC and Jeep guy so he makes it for himself too. SH
