I love the looks of a FSJ that isn't all chopped/exo caged/chrome beadlock'd/reservoir shocked/monster truck tire/custom megabuck suspensioned out.
 
A lot of us Jeep XJ Cherokee guys like to run flowmasters (the thick metal and welded construction is rock resistant), with turn-downs that don't hang below the bodyline.  This would mean a before axle dump (can cause lots of interior drone on the street), or a after axle dump of some sort that doesn't go as far back as the stock pipe on the 'ol Jeep.
 
While I think FM mufflers, and their knockoffs (they're cheaper built, trust me) tend to drone more than a muffler with packing material, you could go with a set of good 'ol glasspacks, providing you could rig up some spark arrestors and it's quiet enough to keep the trail enforcement happy (if you run on public land, but still a good idea not to be too loud).  I love the rrrrrapopop sound.  A guy has an old Chevrolet down the street with 'em and I smile every time it goes by.

It looks as though an update is going to be needed. There has been alot done since the last pictures. SH

This is the start of my lift kit- I did the back first. I made all those pieces homemade, & it came out pretty good.

My new wheels and tires- I drilled a hole farther in to put the valve stem away from rocks.

I wanted to see how they looked- so I testfitted it.
