Wierd question at a cruisenight (Read 2410 times)

purpleheart Forum Veteran 10.9's are getting closer Posts: 2449 Gender: Orangeville, ONT	Wierd question at a cruisenight 09/08/09 at 05:01:57 While I was walking around checking out the cars at a cruisenight my wife stayed with my car . A guy asked my wife what my 71 AMX was before it was an AMX . She told him it's always been a AMX . My wife found him very annoying when he insisted that it started off as something else . Where do these people come from ? Paul

Next time tell her to say either a 71 Cuda or a 71 Mustange Grande . Then the guy will smile at her like he won the war or something . Then he will walk away . This is a much easier reply , then trying to eggsplain a point to someone who has no idea what is going on . It also makes this situation more fun , cause you can mentally play with these people and they just dont get it .
A few nights ago , a young lady called our house , she said she wasnt selling anything , but it was a company doing a poll of the local area . To see what radio ads or shows I listened to , to judge effectiveness of radio as an advertisement in local area . I said I,m sorry I,m deaf and I dont listen to the radio . She appologized for bothering me and got off the line as quick as she could .
When people ask me stoopid questions about my cars I just point at the biggest , biker , farmboy looking guy in the crowd , or the skinniest dragged out punk I can see and say the car belongs to them and I dont know anything about it ..77.

No wonder wht was slowing it down! Steve- Math says 6 years, but the pacer was done in Jan 80, That was why they made 2 80 AMC promo books. But YOU are correct, I was wrong. They should have kept building it till the end of AMC , sorry to intrude Paul, back to the real story. SH
