Yes, " Numbnuts- I- don't- Need- To- Talk- To- Any- AMC- Experts- Because- This- Engine- Is- Just- Another- Motor-And I Know -About - Motors- From -My -Years-Of- Experience- At- Better- Gardening- Glad" blew up the 370. According to the SoCal AMC Club Prez, the 401 is at JMC and he's seen it. So either the blurb in CC is simply a copy editor miss or someone else at CC has the car or a friend of a friend, etc. apparently has it.

Dunno if this out yet, but I finally pulled my head out and called Doug. Well not that bit of information, I'm getting to the juicy part. Wink

I'm also officially eating crow here. He's a nice guy and I feel like a jerkoff for talking crap about him here and elsewhere not knowing him at all. Lesson learned. The CC Rambler LIVES!!!!!! Yay!!!! It hasn't been sold, though he still may sell it and based on his hints at his next area of interest, if anyone has a two- seater project car for sale coming up.... Anyways, the 401 is a 438 and he's goinna have that mill between the Rambler's fenders within 2-3 weeks and then it will make some runs at Irwindale possibly by early summer. More as things develop. He also shared some fascinating insights and myth debunking about running 360's- some aspects of which I'll share in the how much hp to get out of a 360 thread in the engine area. This is awesome!

Bulltear parts shown and used(insert thumbs up pic here).Sheet metal tunnel ram made 550hp at 5,800 rpm and 548 ft/lbs at 4,650. can't wait to see how it runs at the track!
