Because my cheap Craftsman compressor is acting up, will not restart after psi drops motor trips so I have to reset for it to start & too small to do real work. Years ago I got parts to make one. I have a pump unit I don’t know who made it (model 102.211 / ser:366645 blue in color) but know it worked when I got it. I have a tank, motor & psi on/off switch. Thing is I don’t know how it get plumbed up and can’t seam to find any thing ob Goggle. The pump looks the same as the Sears 1 just a little bigger. Air intake is on top, on the side it has 2 smaller ports, 1 has to be the out put (bigger of the 2) I am thinking but don’t know what the other is. On the Sears the larger goes to the tank with a check valve, the other goes to the on/off switch and from what I can find is a un-loader. This is so when the psi drops and unit starts up it is not starting under load and makes sense to me but if you have a check valve on the out put side it would not be starting under load right? The one I went to assy. the on/off switch does not have this fitting. I do know the switch will work as we used this switch on the work compressors but they where big SOB’s and the unloaders where on the heads. Could some one tell me if this line has tank psi all the time so I can tie it into the tank or not under psi when running or just what?? Guess I could get a switch like on the Sears unit & no I don’t want to take parts from the other as it will work just need to hit the reset. Thanks for any help before hand. Dave ----
