Hey just a big thanks to Paul (purpleheart) for all the help he is giving me, went a little different direction with my car, which I don't have a lot of knowledge about and paul has been hands on and full of technical advice all along the way. I know he doesn't see am times very often, but since I work afternoons he still came over and helped me at 9 am. That is usually his bedtime! He has helped me out so much, I think he is starting to getting worried about my tailights..... just kiddin. O and rambling_rebel this is NOT the trash thread so just go crawl back under your boat anchor

You guys both have very cool cars and it's been fun helping out where I can . You guys have also helped me out with my car too and I appreciate it . I'm a bad influence for you , look at how much money you've spent on your cars lately Wink

. I can't wait to see how you guys do at the track . Bill , if you can stay with me coming off the line , you might just beat me to the finish . I think you should be making a little more power than mine and it's a bit lighter . There's no doubt in my mind that (Ken , Bill) will run their best times ever this summer . Good luck guys !

MORE huge points for Paul !!!! Smiley

He helped me with driveway cam change, then came back for the initial start-up and break-in run. His good ears helped with initial timing to get the revs up asap for 20 minute break-in. He was comfortable after first run, and test drive that the cam didn't self-destruct. Cheesy

THAT's why I slept last night ! Grin

Here's Dr. Paul listening with a stethescope for naughty valves etc. Grin

Tony , I did that drive 2 times in a Humpster . 23 tanks of gas with the 401 and 22 with a 343 . I used to live in Burnaby , B.C on Greentree place near the Willingdon hill in 1989-1990 . I used to street race a lot and found it was always raining so I moved back to Ontario . It must be hard to get things done with all the rain you guys get .
