well we just got done putting a 3" lift on his cherokee   lot of work but we got it done   new coiles in front and an add a leaf in the rear website said 3-4 hours to do this     only if everything comes apart like it should    IT DID NOT  
jeep is a 88 cherokee chief 2 door 4.0 5 speed

these look nice on the XJ.
 
I like BFG AT or Cooper STT.  Both are good tires, the cooper being slightly better off road in my opinion, BFG longer lasting (a non issue for a seasonal vehicle.  My Cherokee sees 'blizzard duty' but otherwise it's the econobeater that gets to rust away with road salt)
 
I had to trim the bottom of my fender flares on my 96 XJ so the tires don't rub.
