Ya, I think they'll be fine.  Looks like you can't buy a scattershield for AMC to T-10 anymore    I think I'll see about getting the Canton one, headers should fit and the extra 1" depth should clear the bellhousing.

Sorry man but that fit Sucks... those collectors are doomed...... not gonna work on a lowered car buddy...... the cheapy hedmans tuck up much tighter than those and still hit everything..... dont know how much you lowered the front, but I hope it wasnt more than an inch... Wait till that collector catches a manhole that is sticking up a lil more than usual....... TRUST ME, make a change... or mod them..... at the Absolute very Least, cut that 3 bolt collector flange off and go with a band clamp, at least it will hit and jump/scrape/bend versus catching and ripping.... ask me how I know buddy... been all around the world and back with the lowered humpster difficulties and got all the T-shirts (earned most of them the hard way)..... and when (not if) those collector flanges actually catch instead of scrape, the headers wont be the only thing that gets torn up..... and you will flat out not enjoy crusing around and having to worry about it all the time and not being able to follow cruises etc when they pull into parking lots etc that you cant without leaving your exhaust system on the highway.... = true street cars that are for looks as much as go with lowered stances need modified shortys...... period.... lowered humpsters and headers dont go well in the same sentence as street....... unless your willing to risk it, worry about it all the time (eventually deal with what happens) or get out your welder and learn some fabricating.......  
 
Saw the headers on Tims car and thought those would be at least "ok" but you obviously didnt get the same ones, you have any pics of your "lowered" car sitting on the ground??? what are you calling lowered?1", 2", 3", slammed?
 

Hot Topic... lol... nah....... just dont wanna see you tear your ride up or lose the enjoyment of cruisin over something like headers on a street car.... shame they quit making the shortys....

It really sucks that you have to modify these. If it helps any, I did find a new set of shortys on eBay.

What's the distance from the top of the collector to the floor?   Just curious how much they could be shortened without adding a heat shield or notching the floor.   The stiffer springs of the Control Freaks suspension should help.   The Milodon road race pan isn't as deep as stock, so makes it look worse.

Not sure how low they sit to the floor as i just popped the bare block and heads in and havent adjusted the CF suspension yet.  The collectors are about 2.5 to 3" from the floorboards but I plan on cutting them back and having a custom collector made that will reduce to a 2.5" ball socket flange so even if the headers are raised 2.5" there won't be a 3.5" collector melting the floor, just my 2.5" pipe with plenty of clearance.
 
Unfortunately the headers cant be returned so if I bought the D103's I may be stuck with two sets that aren't satisfactory.
 
I ordered the Canton 15-555 (or is it 15-554) pan which should have clearance for the headers and the oil drain should work.  I believe Milodon is looking into the issue I had and will probably modify their unit.
 
When I get a chance I'll post some pics of how nice the head flange ports are...there was a post with some Hooker super comps for sale on the other forum and the ports look like someone made a half hearted attempt to turn a rectangular port into a dog leg, not sure if it came that way from Hooker but if so...ugh.
