*21st Annual "ALL AMC DAY" 2012 ANNOUNCEMENT*

It's official, mark your calendars, The 21st Annual "ALL-AMC DAY" will be held on SATURDAY, JULY 28TH 2012 at Mason-Dixon Dragway, just outside Hagerstown, Maryland. The event will be hosted by the Mid-Atlantic Classic AMX-AMC Club, The Potomac Ramblers and The Delaware Valley American Motors Owners. The tentative schedule is for gates to open at 9:00 with the event wrapping up by 4:00. There will also be an AMC Car Show and Flea Market as we have had in the past. In addition, for those who wish to run 2 races in one day, Mason-Dixon will run their weekly Summit ET Series race Saturday evening / night.

Thank you to all of those who took the time to participate in the surveys that were distributed along with all the responses posted to the other threads on the internet Forums. We look forward to hosting the 21st Annual at the new venue and returning this meet to the kind of event attendees expect and more. More details about the upcoming event will be posted as they become available. In the interim, I will do my best to answer your questions and forward any input or suggestions you may have. On a personal note, I would like to thank Harley Smith from the Potomac Ramblers and everyone who has been involved from all 3 clubs for their efforts in keeping the "All-AMC" event alive.

Glad to see some positive responses to the big announcement! We hope to see some cars we've never seen before with changing the venue. We're also looking forward to seeing some that we haven't seen in a while returning and of course, the "regulars" too. So far, we haven't heard of any scheduling conflicts so, thanks in advance for helping us spread the word and generate enthusiasm!

With date not until the end of July, hopefully 2 full months will be enough time for people to "recover" from the GAD event and make plans to attend BOTH events.... In addition, it would be nice if those who said they would not go back to Cecil for one reason or another or feel it is just too far away make the trip to Mason-Dixon (about 2 hours west of Cecil County) this year for what promises to be a "can't-miss" event and well worth the trip.

Don, would it OK for me to try to get a Gambers type race together for AMC cars that are not AMC powered?

I know of a few here, and don't want to screw up the regular program.

May only be a 4 or 5 car shootout, so It won't take long.

I will be there no matter what,as I will be in the points chase at MD this year.
