I know that most on here know that I sold my 69 AMX over a year ago. I did finish the 426ci install on my 74 Javelin. But over this winter I set the AMC to the side to focus on another project and it's almost done. This was left to me by made dad who passed in 95 with my mother. (Auto accident)
It's been in the garage for around 28 years. I just finished the engine swap and other upgrades and it's almost road ready.
It still has the 1984 inspection decal on the windshield. lol
Thanks to Turbo Tom for his help in welding plates and input for my conversion. Wink

My wife and kids are looking forward to spring with the top down. Ol'e yea Turbo Tom is to. Grin

I had a 68 biscayne 2 dr sedan . BUT you gotta get rid of the master cyl an up grade to a dual line one ..77.

The 327 lost oil pressure going up a huge hill near us and spun a rod. Went faster from 60 to 100 than 0-60 with the powerglide. Garry

Looks nice Tim! My relative liked them big Chevy's too. He's had quite a few of them over the years. I rememeber he brought one over years back to "borrow" a spot in the shop for just a "little" work, 2 years later it was done, it was a droptop 65 SS 327 original Red black top. After it was done, I had room for 2 Gremlins Grin

Your family will like cruising around with the top down, and enjoying some sun and wind. I like the white walls and wire wheel covers, it makes a nice look on the old full size cars. SH

Low comp bridge pivot motors go fast too! Lots of 1978-80 AMX's, Nurse Bobbis' race car "Wild Thing", Mr. Happyfaces' "Trouble Maker" & many other AMC's. NAMDRA #2398 AMO#8370 Northstar AMC #09
