yeah, but you had two bad pistons, you are not likely to get away with standard bore.  The top of the bore will almost certainly be undercut, may be the reason, or part of the reason you had the problem in the first place.  Wiseco are really, really nice, and budget priced since they include rings.  But they are a LOT lighter and you will have to factor in the expense of re-balancing.  I sort of sponsor a car and that was what I gave them, Wiseco pistons and K1 rods.  I paid for the balance, too.  I thought it was that important to put good stuff in the motor.  Never look back.

im in the market for pistons myself is there any reason people are not useing the bulltear stuff?

With regard to balance, the reason it will be an issue with the wiseco pistons is they are maybe 190 grams lighter than stock.  This means a good bit less weight is required for counter balance by the crankshaft.  I don't know how close to stock weight a bulltear piston is, probably depends on the piston and application.  I bought replacement Venolia pistons from PAS, I had the engine professionally balanced, but the pistons were pretty much the same weight as stock so it probably was not necessary.
 
Second issue, is you seem convinced your block is going to be useable at standard bore, and in my experience even standard bore blocks with as little as 80 or 100K miles need work.  Make sure your machinist looks that block over carefully before you spend the time and money to put good pistons in it.  If I seem hard over on this, its because I have made that mistake in the past....
