Moser will make them for you if you supply your original axles.

my problem with moser is they could cover off maybe 4 amc's 20 axles all at once (width and vehicles), why do we have to pay for shipping there and the return of our original axles...can't you just say you have a '71 Javelin AMX and have them do your axles for you and ship them to you (they used to apparantly)

that in my mind is what makes the stoopid expensive... and then in one case they screwed them up anyway's, so whats the point..\

Exactly, I think Ken or someone somewhat recently had close to 900 bucks wrapped up in the Mosers, you can get meat axles, bearings and a complete disc brake set up for a 9 inch for cheaper than that...... ridiculous.....

already have over 800 in the AM20  if they just made them with longer splines you could trim off as needed

IMHO its like talking to a wall, I like moser but really, why punish us because they "feel like it"

I am pretty sure you could call them up and say you have a chev 12 bolt and they wouldn't ask you for your axles...but I might be speaking out of turn here

Between sending in the old ones, and getting new axles.bearings and seals it was around $450 3 or so years ago.  I have a hard time imaging they are much more than that.  Andy

I bought moser axles a few years back and your cost is in line with what I remember. Strange axles are the expencive ones and Moser was the cheaper alternative. I think Mosers problem with making axles without having them in thier hands to measure is because they have had problems with customers not knowing exactly what they have. You would think they would be able to trust a machine shop to measure them correctly though.
For me, if I buy axles again it would be from the guy Brian found here in Mass. He's somewhat local to me and Brian had a good transaction with them.
