Mine isn't through yet and I've been treating it but I imagine it's only a matter of time before it goes through no matter what I do . . . .

Odd, ain't it? By the way, does anyone know just how different the 67-69 roof were from the 70-73s? The front and back glass are the same, and the seam at the top of the quarter is pretty short, so how different can they be?

My car's from Milwaukee - it started rusting from the bottom up. It'd be nice if sections from earlier cars would work at least for patches - there aren't a whole lot of 70-73 2 door Ambos floating around.

Andre Jacobs at South Texas AMC has 4-door NOS quarters for $250 each, they are about as good a patch panel for a 2 door as you could possibly get. And that price is very fair.

I got a couple fenders and some door skins for patch panels (thanks, Steve). My problem now is my welder ran away after only patching two holes. Not sure how I'm gonna get the body fixed now but I'm working on it. At least I got the engine back in it this week.

The guy welded 2 small patches, packed up and left - after I hacked up the firewall and headlight bucket area. Just trying to get it running for now until I find another welder.

WHERE ? the green one is a 69 Rebel- runs and drives- no rot but dented- the Blue one is a 67 Ambassador- crusher save (almost) it had a run in with a forklift-but had pretty decent black dash and tilt steering- i got it for spares for my 67 Rebel
